Directions


Silk Cleanse Body Bar:
1) Create lather in hands with warm water or massage bar directly on body.
2) Massage all over your body, and rinse with warm water
3) Store bar on an aerated dish to dry between uses

Silk Cleanse Body Bar With Luffa Center:
1) Create lather in hands with warm water or massage bar directly on body.
2) Apply luffa in a circular motion on rough, dry or bumpy areas like the elbows, knees and feet
3) Store on aerated dish to dry between uses.

*All Body and Hair Bars work best when they dry between uses. If bar stays wet, it will soften and loose its shape. If this happens push bar between hands to reshape. Let bar dry for at least one week to regain hardness.

Ritual Tips

-For a deeper cleanse, use Silk Cleanse Body Bar (wothout
luffa) before exfoliating with the luffa bar.
-The luffa inside these cleansing bars comes directly from an organic luffa plant farm in California and are sun dried before cutting. Because these are actual plants, you might find a seed or two when you get to the luffa center. Try planting them and growing your own luffa! See directions in the Packing & Disposal tab.

Do not scrub with the luffa center on sensitive areas like the face, neck, sunburned or damaged skin.

The coconut shell aerated dish is handcrafted by artisans in Ghana from wild harvested, non-GMO coconut shells.

Disposal / Repurposing

Natural luffa sponge inside the bar might have a seed to grow your own luffa sponge.
1) Soak seed in warm water until you start to see roots grow.
2) Once there are vissable roots, plant the seed, roots down, 1/2-1" deep in warm well drained soil.
3) Cover with a clear plastic container to create a humid environment to help germination.
4) Support plant as it grows by tying the stems to a tall stick or fence so it can grow up and not onto the ground where it may break, grow mould, and get destroyed by bugs.
5) To harvest, allow the gourds to fully mature on the vine until the skin dries and becomes tough and brown.
6) Soak very dry luffa in warm water for 1-2 minutes. Skin will be soft enough to remove very easily.
7) Hang the luffa sponge in a dry area. When it become dry and hard, you can shake out the seeds and plant more luffas.
8) You can cut the luffa into the desired sizes and use to exfoliate your body or as a cleansing non-scratch sponge in the kitchen for any surface that needs scrubbing.

Coconut Shell Aerated Dish can be cleaned with warm water and reused, beried in the ground, or can be placed in garbage or compost to decompose naturally. Coconut shell aerated dish is biodegradable and will not harm natural ecosystems.
